Originally from Denver, CO, Mitzie earned her BFA in graphic and interactive design from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in 2008. She decided to focus her career on illustration following the birth of her son. She hopes to merge illustration with her roots in interactive design to develop more beautiful and usable applications for teaching toddlers (so she will have an excuse for wanting to draw all day). In her free time, Mitzie enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, burning things in the kitchen (this sometimes includes herself), and taking pictures.
